Kenobi can win, to be honest. Looking back at all of the stuff in context (including the ragdoll in the film), I'm pretty sure Dooku can't ragdoll a Kenobi with his defences up. Kenobi is also comparably skilled, younger, has more stamina, and is arguably faster.

Why? What is that different in canon compared to legends here that you think Dooku stomps? I would argue that there is a bigger chance for Kenobi to win in canon.

True, but canon doesn't have anything to contradict that, such as the ROTS novel duel or other material. Canon has Dooku straight up ragdolling Kenobi.

Not really. Kenobi was obviously caught with the guard down in canon too. The fact that Kenobi was a match for Mustafar Anakin is enough proof.

Kenobi's mythical 'EoRotS' prime loses too. He's gained more mythological status these days than even Knightfall Vader. Kenobi was hindered guys, all he did was unhindered himself somewhat when he 'let go'. He isn't weighed down by emotions against anyone else; Grievous for example, where he completely surrenders himself to the Force just like he does after he 'let go'. His performance level is exactly the same on Mustafar as it is on Utapau.

Dooku still has the stylistic edge over Kenobi, who can't do anything to him.

The problem is Kenobi has no real means of pressuring Dooku. Sure Kenobi's defense will be a bitch for Dooku to crack, but whenever Kenobi goes on the offensive Dooku always has his number. And if Dooku gets tired he can take advantage of Kenobi's passiveness and revitalized himself via opening a channel to the Force - in fact he did just that right before he Force blasted him in the novel.

It's either going to be a long ass stalemate or Kenobi eventually commits and Dooku takes him down.
