Well, the TOP 5 are very difficult to rank - each have phenomenal qualities of their own.

I am sure that WE have not seen Vaylin at her peak - not even close. Valkorion prevented her from developing her powers and realize her true potential for many years, and when she managed to unchain herself, her reign of terror did not last long (she was taken down ASAP). Valkorion FEARED that she would become powerful enough to challenge even him in time - an impossibility for a natural born otherwise.

The Alliance Commander's ability to challenge and defeat Arcann and Vaylin respectively, is Valkorion's doing. Valkorion wanted to prepare another body for his use...

Well, again, Arcann literally says that he senses the Outlander absorbed Vaylin’s strength after killing her. Whether he actually did or not is irrelevant (given Valk is the one who possesses Vaylin’s spirit, I would wager no), but the level of growth Outlander experiences after killing Vaylin is akin to having absorbed Vaylin’s strength. My personal rationale is that after killing Vaylin, the Outlander was given a final boost by Valkorion to become the “vessel of supreme power” that Valkorion was trying to make him, capable of housing his full power.

@Darth Nihilus If we start disregarding the essential qualities of characters, then this entire thing falls apart. Unless you have a method of quantifying Nihilus, he stays banned. You can make your case here, however.

I do realize that disregarding the amp Nihilus gets will not lead to the most accurate representation of Nihilus. However, this does not really make the tournament fall apart much. Think of it this way. For example, if Nihilus ends up getting ranked #10, then we know that he would at the minimum be a number 10. Now we would not know how far higher he would go with his amp. We will ,however, know that he exceeds all the other Force users above #10. This will not show us where Nihilus stands exactly, but will show us who is definitely below Nihilus. Basically, it would never put Nihilus above someone unless that someone is definitely below Nihilus.

So it's like if Nihilus without amp gets #10, we know that he is within than 10 Force users range. If ,for example, Nihilus was actually a #5 (with amp included) then all the Force users from #9 to #5 would simply move 1 position up. So it's still pretty accurate with respect to the list. #9 moves to #10, #5 moves to #6 etc...

@Darth Nihilus I don't exactly understand what you're saying, sorry. And it's not just the fact that he gets an amp from Force-users; it's also his amp from the Ravager. Just everything about him is circumstantial.

Why does Revan rank so high?

Largely due to hax, willpower fueled immortality and durability, being basically a zombie. Superiority to vanilla SWTOR Vitiate and SoR HoT.

Imo his actualized power is heavily comparable to Yoda's, Windu's, and Anakin's, and has the added bonus of his hax plus 300 years of knowledge directly from Vitiate. I don't see why he can't be so high, tbh.
