Like where and what do you look at or compare and how do you even know it even works or fits? How do you even know for sure, that that's where he is?

For me, it's:

Initial power level (19 BBY).
Growth rate.
Feats.
Accolades.
Scaling off others.
Mindset (Vader's mindset heavily alters his abilities).

Insane Physical Strength
Broken Durability
Mastery
Relation to Luke
Growth
19-18bby reconciled with the OT showings

For me it's based off his performances and quotes pertaining to him. Really plain and simple, pure black and white.
