ESB-era Luke hasn't done enough in canon to make me think he could take any of the rounds against Ahsoka.

@Hellfireunit Luke was in the "this was the man who killed my father" mindset which explains his aggressive performance. There's no reason he can replicate this against Ahsoka who he has no personal familarity or vendetta against.

Despite that, Luke' advanced maneuvers and skill with saber is clearly shown in the video. 

And if we were to consider S7 Ahsoka's performance, we can say the exactly same thing. Filoni and Witwer explains characters' motives and ambitions determined their performance. Ahsoka was fighting against the renegade Sith Lord with absolute determination, to save and help the people of Mandalore. Even more so after she heard Maul's plans against Anakin. Why would she fight against a young untrained boy with the same mindset?

What about Vader being pre-prime and not unleashing his full might against Luke?

rebels vader is prime according to hidalgo and even then the fact that luke was able to face a being who is beyond dooku impresses me more than facing post sod maul

Got any canon quote that states vader was holding back?

Jedi vs. Sith states that Vader's power and lightsaber skills were greater than Luke's during ESB. We also know that Vader was not out for the kill, because he wanted Luke to join him.

A character with superior power/skill who is not trying to kill their opponent pretty much defines "holding back", no?

Maybe in My case i need to see a specific quote that dictates that besides that statement only says vader s skills we're greater than Luke by the time of ESB.

Well Even if that was the case i still see Luke facing vader more impressive than facing sod maul mainly becuase of scaling chains and so on

But I still don't see how Luke's performance against Vader(who was explicitly more powerful/skilled, and actively not trying to kill him) translates into Luke being superior to Ahsoka?

What other showings does ESB Luke have that scale him to Ahsoka, though?

The only other high-end showing I can think of was when he shook a Star Destroyer with a TK wave -- but that was a one-off that happened in a moment of blind rage. Certainly nothing that Luke ever came close to duplicating as of ESB(he failed to lift an X-Wing in the film, remember.)

Is there other stuff I'm just not aware of?
