Darth Maul vs Darth Gravid

The apprentice of the best Sith Lord in history vs the Sith Lord that comes halfway between Bane and Sidious in the Banite line. All out, both characters in their primes, battle takes place on the fields of Dantooine

@DC77 (Reborn) Imo Bane is already comparably powerful to Maul and the fact that Gravid scales significantly above him places him beyond Maul tbh.

Maul wins, honestly. This isn't a black mark on Bane, however.

@DC77 (Reborn) Bane's temple feat which was achieved while exhausted and vastly pre-prime leads me to believe he could rival Maul at his peak.

Maul's barracks feat is better tbh.

Bane's feat is very good but it is a charged up, focused feat and completely drained his force reserves so I am not convinced it puts him above TPM Maul

Bane's exhaustion was also attributed to the long lightsaber duel:

And Kas'im's speech was only at best 5 seconds, going by the audiobook. 

And Bane accomplished this from an awkward position on the ground twenty meters down from his target with no focal point, a good portion of the impact would have been blunted by Kas'im's Force shield, and the rest still collapsed the entrance.

Yes, it was a nexus feat but frankly DoE Bane scales vastly above PoD Bane it doesn't matter. He arguably scales from his nexus feats.

Ruusan was also a potent nexus of light and dark after the detonation of the Thought Bomb.

Yet amped PoD Bane wasn't even capable of instant killing two mercenaries:

The barracks feat is an involuntary display of power which we know can be reflective on one's potential not actual power they can unleash at will. He's never done anything close to that magnitude again even as of TCW. Zannah snapped the necks of two Jedi and disintegrated Darovit's hand at the age of nine as a neophyte but no one would claim those feats is reflective of her then-current ability to use the Force at will.

Maul isn't in the towering over Bane's power niche like what's required to beat someone in Gravid's Force range.

It being an involuntary display of power doesn't preclude him from replicating it at will, especially when Maul himself notes a few years later that he feels "stronger than ever" which would include his momentary outburst.

Yeah, Maul doesn't have any feats in TCW that are as good as his Force Scream potency at the age of 15, but that would come down to TCW having a minimal emphasis on power levels and Force powers.

Yeah no, Maul is winning here.
