Luke (The Mandalorian) vs Anakin (RotS)

Assuming canon Anakin, yeah? If so, then Luke should win, imo.

In canon, Vader's power/skill was only ever stated to have grown after the events of RotS, which means that RotS Anakin was technically Vader at his weakest -- even the brief moment where he tapped into the dark side to own Dooku with ease would have theoretically been just a taste of the power he would wield later on(when he fully embraced the dark side as Vader.)

This is important, because Luke's Force power and lightsaber skill were stated to be equal to Vader's as of RotJ. Granted, you could argue that Vader's conflict might have been hindering him to some [unknown] extent, but as of right now, we have no clue how gimped his power may(or may not) have been during RotJ. However, Beware the Power of the Dark Side(a canon retelling of RotJ) makes no mention of Vader being 'weaker' at all -- in fact, the novel indicates that Vader was still drawing on dark sided emotions during his encounter with Luke. Either way, Vader would've had to be significantly nerfed in RotJ for him to have dropped down to Anakin/sub-Anakin levels... But as mentioned: we currently don't have any reason to believe his power had vastly plummeted in RotJ, as nothing of the sort has been explicitly clarified in canon. /shrug

That said, The Mandalorian S02 is set 5+ years after RotJ. By this point Luke was settled in his role as a Jedi, had logically found(and began studying) Jocasta Nu's cache of holocrons, and was possibly communing with(and learning from) the spirits of Yoda, Kenobi, and Anakin as well. That, coupled with his ridiculous Skywalker potential, equates to him logically becoming a good bit more powerful/skilled than he was during RotJ.

As of now(and things can always change, given the 'fluidity' of new canon), my current tiering would be: Mando Luke > RotJ Luke ~ RotJ Vader > RotS Anakin.
