How do they rank in power?

TPM>AOTC>ROTS imo

I think there are minor growths between each but nothing of particular note.

Base Yoda in RotS is likely an 8. Vs Sids is a different beast entirely. He's stated to be fighting harder than ever before against Sids and BoRotS Anakin (who is also an 8) is stated to be the most powerful Jedi of the time. So he's likely only an 9 vs Sids.

This also explains how Mace can be his equal yet get near blitzed by Sids without an massive amp. And him going from being equal to exhausted Dooku in AotC to fighting Sids.

Gillard and Lucas forgot to mention Yoda is only a 9 while fighting Sidious and an 8 everywhere else, I guess.

"This explains how" - is just a game of trying to fit a bunch of contradictory bin sources together with the primary material when the thematic intent behind Yoda being a 9 - and the best of the order - is set in stone, and pretty clear.

Base Mace is bordering on nine. Good thinking Grey, Yoda is surely an 8.

RotS Yoda solos without even using a lightsaber, breaking all the other Yodas’ backs.

I see no difference between TPM and AoTC Yoda, but RotS Yoda is significantly stronger.

I doubt the 12 years between TPM and ROTS accounts for any significant power difference in the grand scheme of Yoda's ~900 lifespan.

Same. Dooku wasn’t a fight for his life or the future of the Jedi Order. He was a weary mentor facing down his fallen pupil he doesn’t relish the prospect of fighting let alone killing. Not a whole lot of conviction to draw upon in that instance, unlike Sidious the personification of the Darkside, pure evil one he has no attachments to or any qualm over killing in his and the order’s most desperate hour.
