@ladykulvax What you forget to mention is Mace was exhausted and caught by surprise, and still held off Sheev's lightning as he intensified it by the second. Vaapad quickly became useless; it was Mace's raw power and strength holding it off.
And no, tier 9 is not massive and there is literally nothing to support that. 4 beings are confirmed to be in this bracket, and all of them are either equal to one another or able to contend with the others. It's the gap between tier 8s (which at best the duo are) and tier 9s.
Not to mention Nox is a crappy swordsman.

I didn't forget to mention anything, you're literally proving my point for me at this point. Sheev was literally going to kill him, but he stopped his barrage. Mace believed he'd won and then realises that he'd missed the biggest shatterpoint of the fight, Anakin's fear. Which in the end kills him first.
Nox is stated to be as good with the blade as he/she is powerful in the Force. There's no reason to believe Nox is a poor swordsman.

You keep forgetting about Vaapad. It is a conduit of force energy, driven back to the aggressor. Stop bullshitting until you provide a quoteLadyKulvax wrote:I didn't forget to mention anything, you're literally proving my point for me at this point. Where is the quote, and you have yet to mention Mace's use of Vaapad and how it was effective against a wielder of the dark side like Sidious.LadyKulvax wrote:I literally just mentioned Vaapad, what drugs are you on?

Big whoop, he was overwhelming - slowly, I might add - an exhausted and surprised Mace while using his own pain, fury and hatred to intensify the power by the second. Are you going to claim Sidious is >> Yoda next based on his overwhelming Yoda?
Nox is stated to be as good with the blade as he/she is powerful in the Force. There's no reason to believe Nox is a poor swordsman.
Source for that claim? And compared to a tier 9, he's crap. Unlike the EW, he lacks a single impressive feat in sabers and has failed to defeat even a noteworthy swordsman (KOTFE/KOTET don't count since they're all but confirmed to be HoT and possibly EW playthroughs in canon).
