With all of this in mind, wouldn't it make sense for Vader to be on DE Luke's level? If the latter learned all of what Vader knows? Or at the bare minimum be at DE Luke's level prior to training under?
Well I was trying to go for a compromise, since some might not go for DE Luke level, but might go for at least the bare minimum early DE Luke.

Personally, I have RotJ Vader as >=DE Luke in knowledge. But DE Luke should have more applicable power to use that knowledge with. RotJ Luke already matched RotJ Vader in terms of raw power and combative skill, thanks to Luke having about the same potential as Anakin, while Vader's potential had been hampered. Luke had several years of growth after that point, so DE Luke should be considerably more powerful than Vader. DE Luke's performance in his two duels against DE Sidious should be proof enough that he has far greater combative ability than RotJ Vader.
