He has more strength but Qui Gon has basically all other advantages, better mastery, knowledge, and skill. So, despite Obi Wan's stronger connection( which is by a minute amount), Qui Gon should win

When you saw more strength, are you referring to his much greater raw power?

Backing Qui-Gon. While Obi-Wan is arguably more powerful, faster and has more stamina, Qui-Gon has knowledge, experience, technical skill, strength, etc. He takes it.

I'm not convinced Obi-Wan is more powerful than Qui-Gon in TPM.
