Vaylin can oneshot Caedus tbh. She's probably more powerful than Krayt but his far superior Mastery will allow him to win. But Arcann takes Caedus and then the pair can take Krayt together.

I meant more like why vaylin can’t one-shot caedus but could arcann?

Vaylin would have to be equal or superior in power to Luke in order to one shot Caedus. Since she loses to Valkorion multiple times this clearly isn't the case. This also puts her below Krayt in power.

Why would Vaylin have to be near Luke? Luke literally isn't going full power ever when he fights Caedus, it's just completely incorrect. Krayt isn't near Valk or Luke either, so I don't know what you're going on about.

@IG Where else has Caedus been shown up like he was against Luke? Even then Caedus had no time to raise a Force barrier, as he wasn't expecting the attack at all. And Krayt is a lot closer to Luke in power than he is to Valkorion based on their 2 on 1 fight against Abeloth in the realm of beyond shadows.

Krayt could very likely be amped by the pool iirc

@Seturna That's fanon. Both Luke and Jacen had dreams of Krayt years before the event and recognised him as the Dark Man sitting on the Throne of Balance.

Just a whole (hundreds strong? thousands?) tribe of them that dates from the time Naga Sadow was around, and Vergere who had a guiding hand in training Jacen Solo, grandson of a guy who had the dormant power of a celestial to rule all celestials, who happened to inherit a decent whack of his power.

Vaylin is a borderline tier 9 imo simply because she hasn't got the mental side nailed down. Her power is up there, and her skill should be an 8/9. Outlander should be a very low 9 by EoKOTET, but neither are Mace level at this point.

Chained: Breaking free of Valkorion's Force grip and dominating chapter 3 Outlander (a KOTFE Arcann+ level character).
Unchained: From orbit, reaching across a void that could all but nullify most being's connection to the Force and overloading generators, and one-shotting Arcann, Senya and spirit Valkorion while also being confirmed to be > chapter 8 Outlander.
