Ben Kenobi vs Darth Maul (TCW S4)

Darth Maul, as of the very end of the episode Revenge (once he got over his rustiness) Darth Vader in A New Hope in his duel against old Ben Kenobi on the Death Star.


Rules:

• Standard morals.
  
• Duelling only.
  
• Maul has his single bladed lightsaber, Ben has his regular blue lightsaber.
  
• No CIS, cheapshots or BFRs.
  
• Starting distance is the same starting distance between Vader and Kenobi.
  

Round 1: Ben retains his knowledge and experience of fighting Maul. Maul only retains his knowledge and experience of fighting Kenobi in TPM and TCW S4.

Round 2: They have amnesia and forget who each other are, but fight.

Who wins?

ben isnt as good with a weapon, so mauls better physicals will give him the win. ben's saving grace is smarts and exp. aside from that, he might get stomped, unless he burns out his force augmentations.

in the force, ben might have the advantage. more skilled, has been shown to be better at using it overall, and might just be more powerful too.

two years prior to ANH ben three shoted more experienced maul in a duel . so yeah he wins .

maul was tired, supposedly, in that fight. maybe the rage boost evened that out, but then again, his mental state was shit. idk what to think about that fight.

He one shotted a Maul who fell for his fake Qui-Gon stance, Maul only fell for that bait because because he wanted to kill him in a few moves due to being disinterested in having another prolonged fight. Maul also probably wasn't at full strength in that instance because he spent a lot of time walking through the harsh environments of Tatooine, weakening his legs. The fact that Maul fell for that shows CIS, and CIS isn't allowed as the OP says. If none of those explanations are good enough for you, then accept that wasn't a normal lightsaber fight, but a samurai duel that Filoni shoe horned for symbolic story telling.
