Ki-Adi Mundi vs Savage Opress

Savage, too big, too strong, too relentless. Savage would bully him with his strength and forward momentum if he fights in the same straight line and stationary fashion in which he did against Ventress and Grievous. He lacks agility feats, ala Plo Koon and Florrum Kenobi, which is needed to create a successful offense against Savage.

I don’t see any avenue of victory for Mundi. He’s outclassed.

Mundi fought peak GG for a good time while exhausted.

If it was competitive it might mean something. He held on defensively in a losing one-sided battle, he's a master of Soresu, he can do that much against Grievous.

Grievous doesn't fight like Savage. He doesn't use his size and forward momentum in the same fashion in which Savage uses to bully smaller humanoid opponents.


Kenobi's Soresu skills weren't enough to hold off Savage - he's so strong he rocked him badly even as he parried his blows, he needed to adopt a smart offensive approach to gain any momentum against Savage, a skillset Ki-Adi hasn't demonstrated.

It's a very different type of challenge for Mundi who frankly doesn't have the right skills to beat him.

He had other Jedi to help him and even then he was stomped. Mundi is trash.

My opinion of Mundi has dropped significantly, Savage wins

Mundi's level of exhaustion is unquantifiable, plus he had other Jedi at his aid, and he still could not take down the general.
