Not sure. Jerec "rivals" Vader in power, but IDK how close you have to be to "rival" them.

Vader is at least at the level of Tenebrous’ master, who scales far beyond Bane.

I probably would have stepped in to counter the autistic Vader lowballing if I wasn't so busy with Kenobi

thinking jerec is so high in relation to banite scaling is absurd .
it would suggest jerec could rival TPM sidious which is laughable .
One source that states Jerec rivals Vader is from Qu Rahn, so it's irrelevant. Another is from a source that literally opens up by saying this:
bane takes this .
personally i have RoTJ vader as almost perfect peer to RoTS count dooku and
close to darth tenebrous but below prime plagueis .

@DarthAnt66 What was the debunk of Kyle being relativistic to Jerec again? If he can legit tank an amped Jerec's attacks without dying, that ties Jerec to the Brotherhood of Darkness fodder that were stronger than Kyle, and by extension, orders of magnitude beneath Bane.

The quote wasn't from Qu Rahn though (assuming you're referencing what I think you're referencing).

I've debunked this myth again and again, why people persist in insisting that the quote (Which comes from an OOU game manual) is the word of Qu-Rhan is a complete mystery to me. Rhan's assertions are explicitly differentiated from the rest of the points on Jerec, they are sourced as being from his journal and literally put in freaking italics. You must be blind to read the quote from Rhan, and then the following entry on Jerec, and somehow reach the conclusion the two are the same.

Galaxy of fear also places Jerec not far behind Vader in power. It’s stated “this man wasn’t quite as strong as Vader” meaning there is only a small gap between them.
