As far as power goes, Sidious is the most powerful Sith ever and Plagueis is his peer, so they outmatch team 2 in that department. They also enjoy an untold advantage martially, and Plagueis' midi-chlorian manipulation is an insurmountable boon for them. Team 1 should take this without issues.
