Also in the novelization, Kenobi stands his ground the entire time in his fight with Grievous and doesn't move an inch. The narrow catwalk argument only works if you are arguing on the basis of the movie and most agree the novelization is closer to EU Grievous before he was nerfed.

Grievous by contrast has tested Dooku and given Mace Windu a decent fight when he was only a short time before ROTS while the General was hindered. He's also outright overwhelmed Obi-Wan's defences which even the likes of Dooku have struggled to do. Though Obi-Wan did beat him, this is largely suggested to be due to his mastery of Soresu rather than his actual superiority as a swordsman.
There is no evidence he was hindered, besides the Fact File quote, considering that it is in October 2014, it is most likely canon, not Legends
Who are you referring to, Grievous? Because the Labyrinth of Evil novel clearly states that the magna clamps he used to fix himself in place “hindered as much as helped” whereas Mace had virtually full mobility. The moment a foot left the ground, Mace was able to exploit it in order to knock him off.

Az proved that Hett was a genuine contest for Kenobi, who massacred Grievous in the ROTS novel, tbh.

Ah crap. I thought you were talking about Grevious being hindered in the ROTS battle

Regular Grievous is complete trash to Dooku and Mace. LOE showing is a one-off.
