Asajj Ventress vs Satele Shan

I am more than willing to substantiate my claim of Marr "wiping the floor" with Ventress. I'd even go as far as to say he could ragdoll her if he so chose. If you'd like I can do that now, but if you'd prefer I didn't intercede in the ongoing debate, I can wait.

Feel free to chime in. Just a discussion right now.

I'm currently not sure. I'm waiting to see if the logic behind Marr > Ventress checks out or if the Ventress camp can produce a compelling argument of their own.

Marr has some excellent scaling that puts him, quite simply, completely out of Ventress' wheelhouse. He toyed with Darth Lachris, appearing to teleport to her and was able to one-shot her after casually defying her attacks. Lachris scales well against an Act 2 Barsen'thor. I'm sure you're all familiar with the Lord Vivicar scaling that the Barsen'thor receives. The Barsen'thor that Lachris fights was not weakened 6 times over from the shielding ritual; he had his full strength with him.

Additionally, Marr was capable of one-shotting Teneb Kel (a pre-prime Thanaton) and Kel has some monumental feats of his own. I recently posted these in another thread, but for reference, here they are again:



One-shotting a Terentatek is impressive in its own right. Building a football-field long TK bridge out of ship debris while shielding himself from the vacuum of space gives Marr some really nice scaling off him.

Parity with Darth Nox is also important, as Nox & Marr treated each other as equals after Nox's ascension to the Dark Council. This keeps Marr in lockstep with someone who could one-shot a prime Thanaton. Marr is also heavily implied to be superior to the likes of Baras and Jadus, which would again give him solid scaling.

Trying to scale Ventress off of Windu or Anakin seems unwise. Not when she's also getting schooled by an early TCW Kenobi and thrown around by Savage much later in the war.

Ventress is the superior duelist and also I don't see Satele getting a chance to use her TK which I would say is superior to Ventress.

If Satele really is equal to Marr (and I'm inclined to say she is) she definitely wins. Otherwise I'm not sure who wins as Satele doesn't really have a lot of feats though her in universe standing is high.

If she really is equal to Marr she wins, if not she dies.

Prime Satele should be equal to Marr and above some iteration of Hotlander so she clearly win here.
