I mean, I completely agree with Ackbar and Thrawn. But why Revan? From what I know he has a great reputation but very little in regards to concrete feats to back it up, whereas Thrawn does.

Nah, his gambit on Malachor and the way he'd been manuevering the war leading up to that is ingenious tbh.

Anakins strategy at the Battle of Bothawui should at least get him an honorable mention.

A fine strategy, but it’s not exactly like defeating the new republic while severely outnumbered.

I'll try to make a more thorough case for Revan later.

Grievous is only tactical, when he goes up against jedi. I don't recall him being a great military strategist.

Probably those fuckers from those boring non-Force user books.

Krayt was pretty smart in War, and also in the beginning issues of Legacy. Maul has some good feats of this nature in Death Sentence and Son of Dathomir. Grievous was also an excellent tactician across the media he's been seen in. Many of the Jedi from TCW would have developed a mind for strategy.

Probably a lot of people from NJO era as well.
