Exar Kun versus Darth Bane

Round 1:

- Both characters only possess their lightsabers. No talisman, gauntlet, Orbalisk etc. for them. 
- Fight is all out
- Win by any means
- Both are determined to win

Round 2: 

- Bane has Orbalisk Armor, Kun has all of his gear.
- All out fight
- Characters are bloodlusted
- Win by death

Bonus: Kun gets Qel-Droma, Bane gets Zannah. Both parties are fully equipped.

Battle takes place in an empty desert of Tatooine.

Kun without his amulets loses for sure; they enhance his telekinetic powers and enable him to wield sorcery in the first place. He's not the same powerhouse as he is in TotJ without them.

In the second round, if we assume DoE Bane who gets extra orbalisk protection, I don't see how Kun can triumph. Bane's already powerful enough to compete and arguably win without the armor; with it his victory is all but assured. If it's just RoT Bane, it's a different story. I can see a case made for either side.

With Zannah aiding Bane, and Qel-Droma assisting Kun, the odds are even more in the former two's favor. DoE Zannah's equally if not more powerful than Bane whereas Ulic explicitly isn't Exar's peer. And if it's theoretical peak Zannah, this becomes even more one-sided.

R1: Bane.

R2: Kun.

R3: Banite duo.

1. Bane.
2. Kun.
3. Either way.

Exar Kun is well beyond Bane's league.

His amulet only ever served as a focus for his inner rage which allowed him to channel that into Force blasts.

Beyond that, Exar Kun as a spirit is confirmed to be more powerful than BFC!Luke. He's also much more powerful than that in his physical form.

Beyond NR scaling, his feats are all majorly pre-prime. But what he does have are all top tier regardless. From telekinesis on a cruiser, telepathy on a planetary scale, corrupting the entire surface of a planet, etc.

But the best possible comparison is that Thon, a far inferior Force user to Kun, was very clearly capable of controlling the full power of the Ambria nexus.

Money's definitely on Kun.

Anyway Kun wins here. Bloodlusted Bane has proven to be reckless while Kun is able to channel his rage through the amulets. 

Without amulets Kun would still win. He was a prodigy for his time while Bane was exceptionally good at best.

How is Bane not a prodigy when within an hour learning force lightning as a student, he could effortlessly create a force storm that could fill an entire library and displace everything in it?

This is the best Kun artwork imo.

I never finished that, sorry. Lack of time and lack of interest to engage with that specific individual. And I've left Comic Vine since then.
