Ragnos rags. Has done rituals throughout his life which saw him need multiple dark side nexii to be revived. He was a spirit on top of this who had done rituals throughout his life. Ulic's sole reason for being powerful is being boosted by some modicum of Ragnos' power.

Probably Ulic unless you hold really hard to only prime Kun being Ragnos's superior, which just doesn't seem to match up with the theme of Kun continually surpassing each ancient until he unites with Ulic. He literally absorbed the knowledge of Nadd as he destroyed him, he arguably absorbed his power too. Especially given the Audio Drama has Kun being stated to replace Nadd as a 'great power' when he destroys him.
