Wrong section.
If by Anakin, you mean pre-Vader Skywalker then we're talking Sidious.

Anakin stops at Kenobi even though he's equal to Yoda/Sids in force power and saber ability? Yeah... right.
OT-Down at Sidious.

He was stopped by him in canon. Deal with it.

@KingOfBlades @O-Siri: I shouldn't have to explain to two people of your intelligence why that argument is complete and utter nonsense, but I guess even the smartest of users sometimes don't think things through. Kenobi can't leverage Anakin's mental state the same way because he doesn't have an environmental edge like on Mustafar (the default assumption for a battle is neutral ground), and as a consequence of that he gets battered into submission after a long slog.

Why does Mustafar's terrain provide Kenobi an advantage? Correct me if I'm wrong, but the default battle location is an immensely large flat grid, which gives greater utility to Kenobi's backtracking strategy since he can change directions at his leisure without needing to worry about getting backed into a corner. If you're referring to the high ground(lol), Kenobi was still stalemating Anakin prior to that moment in the fight(and depending on adaptation he's actually in control of the battle), so it's not clear Anakin would have won were it not for the whole high ground thing.
P.S Please don't try to flex a supposed superior logical thoroughness when it seems you've failed to consider the basic implications of what impact default stipulations actually have on this fight.

There’s more than one way to skin a cat. Obi-Wan disarmed Anakin at one point despite being disarmed himself and was a fraction of a second from finishing him. It was an even fight throughout. It’s not like Kenobi ran from Anakin, he exchanged with him and gave as good as he got. Anakin needs to pin Kenobi into a constricted area and hinder his movement, like that floating platform, to maximize his advantages over Kenobi, something thats considerably harder to do in the default setting.

@KingOfBlades
Which means he can last longer than he did on Mustafar, hence why it'll be a "long slog". It does not however mean he can get a victory over a combatant who is faster, stronger, and has deeper reserves to pull from.
Nick emphasising that Anakin is a 9 and Kenobi is an 8 suggests that the former was going to win. That the fight was a stalemate before Kenobi leveraged the environment and Anakin's mental state does not contradict that notion.
@O-Siri:
And yet you haven't shown any alternatives, nor given proof Kenobi can execute them.
My contention isn't whether the fight was equal or not though, because we know from the way Nick frames it that Anakin was eventually going to win, regardless of how close the brawl actually was throughout its run time.
Or he can just outlast him with his Sidious level force reserves...

How is Anakin stopping at Kenobi exactly?
A mentally stable and weaker Anakin was able to destroy Dooku, someone that is superior to Obi Wan and has slapped Obi Wan around in the past. Anakin is also pretty much confirmed to have been able to defeat Mace Windu as well who again is superior to Obi Wan. Anakin was mentally stable (relatively to Mustafar) when defeating Dooku and would have been mentally stable had he fought Windu (which happens in the game and Windu loses) which further shows the fact that the only reason Obi Wan was ever able to defeat Anakin was due to his mental instability on Mustafar and the stupid mistake he made by jumping onto Obi Wan at the high ground. Obi Wan would not have been able to defeat Anakin otherwise and would have been defeated most likely had the fight kept going due to Anakin's Force reserves. This isn't Mustafar and so Anakin isn't making that same mistake on neutral ground even if we assume he will be mentally instable in this fight as well. A mentally stable Anakin is already proven to have been able to defeat 2 Force users both of which are superior to Obi Wan. Obi Wan was just lucky Anakin made a dumb move otherwise he would most likely be dead.
OT: Stops at 4 or 5

@Darth Nihius:
There’s no such thing as a mentally stable Anakin. A mentally stable Anakin wouldn’t have fallen to the dark side in the first place. Anakin was at his most powerful and dangerous on Mustafar. IH Anakin still has light side moral complications. Zonakin! is hesitant to kill his most hated enemy, Mustafar Vader kills younglings in cold blood and chokes his pregnant wife. He is more able to draw upon the source of his power and focus it than any previous version. The deeper he draws into the dark side the stronger he gets.
Anakin destroyed Dooku and not Obi-Wan because of the styles make fights. Dooku can’t stand his ground, go blade to blade, or press forward with his less kinetic a approach. He’s tailor made for Anakin. Even AotC Anakin was “exhausting” him. Obi-Wan’s style matches up better than Dooku and he has superior stamina and endurance, he can go to the trenches and fight a war with a young lion, the old man cannot.
The RotS video game isn’t canon, and Mace has just fought an exhausting battle with Sidious anyways.
