Well I mean what was Makashi made for if not to be an advancement in duelling? Like even in trash sources like TFU Makashi is labelled as far more advanced. Sure, Fisto worked to counter Shii-Cho’s inferiority to Makashi as far as precision is concerned, but he’s still worse off than a Ventress or even a Shaak Ti in this regard as precision is innately ingrained into their technique and they don’t have to retool their styles in any way.
