Ventress beats any incarnation of Fisto

An early TCW Grievous was wounded and he was pushing Fisto nonetheless. Also Fisto blocking Palpatine's strikes were due to Mace's presence.

He defeated Grievous with an environmental advantage and right after Grievous had gone through excruciatingly painful surgery. Ventress has actually outright defeated Grievous when he was in peak condition.

I don't see why this matters, tbh. Sure it's an impressive reaction feat and shows he's pretty skilled, but he still got blitzed and stomped. Not sure why Ventress couldn't replicate this or perform better.

I'm not saying that Ventress can't replicate his feats or that she is not more powerfull than him. As i said, she wins but there is nothing to suggest that she can stomp him.

Not to mention Fisto has a form advantage against Grievous.

Ventress has already handed him his backside in Cestus Deception a few months after starting her training with Dooku:

Obi-Wan would have given his right hand to join. Or even to watch such a display. But he had his own worries, his own battle to fight.
He struggled with the urge to simply draw his lightsaber and slaughter the X’Ting. His enemies came on and on, struck quickly but clumsily, got in each other’s way. Obi-Wan was direct in attack, and as elusive as a breeze.
He’d missed the engagement, but suddenly—Kit was down! Wounded and groggy from a kick in the jaw, for the first time Ventress had pierced his guard. Her left-hand saber sliced his arm but as sparks flew he dove away from her left blade, leaning into a glancing blow from her right.


While Kit obviously improved, Ventress' growth is actually quantifiable and is pretty massive. She went from matching padawan Anakin to contending with him a few months before ROTS, doing okay against Mace on Coruscant in a brief, off-panel fight, etc.

Ignore her Grievous feat, just remembered she was amped and 19 BBY Grievous was stated by Dooku to be more powerful than her.

You know that this fight had cirmustances. Ventress later fought Kenobi (who was inferior to Fisto at this point) in the same book and Kenobi did well.
Also, if this is canon fight (dark disciple is only canon) this is irellevant

If we consider Canon, Fisto lacks feats. Ventress is capable of dueling Dooku, Savage, both Kenobi and Skywalker and even Force Choke them in a rush. Fisto stands no chance.

Fisto's also already had a leg injury before he fought Ventress.

Old EU feats are allowed.

What amp? If you are referring to Dathomir, it only amps Nightsister Magic, not physicals or anything and yet Ventress managed to beat Grievous without the aid of the Force.

Kit's defeat at the hands of Ventress had circumstnces. She has a distinct form advantage, and she was given time to analyse Kit's form and fighting style. Also, Kit had a heel wound, iirc.

Dathomir being a DS nexus in Canon doesn't mean it amps Dark Jedi/Sith Lords. I don't know if it works like in Legends.

If the DS nexus risked overwhelming Malicos (who still believes himself a Jedi), and he's learned to control it, it sounds like a nexus. You're right though, nexuses aren't exactly clear in canon.

I can't remember which issue it's from but it kind of screams that Dathomir in canon are the same as it was in Legends.

Ventress. Although I hold Fisto on a higher pedestal with regards to overall ranking, as well as skill and mastery, Ventress has the right combo to take him down.

This Legends or Canon? If Legends, Fisto got dis.

Legends is assumed by default if it's not specified.

And Fisto wins indeed by merit of reacting to several of Sidious's blows.
