Canon: Peak Suited Vader vs. RotS Sidious

My next question then would be how do we set that against what we see in Rebels, where Vader is in his "prime" when he fights Ahsoka - and he is firmly Vader as per Filoni's words - and Ahsoka's fight against Maul, which pits them as near-equals? After all, we have two sources saying Maul would fare as well as Ahsoka did if he were to face Vader. One of them being Filoni himself.

@Caelus Pall Sorry, I don't really understand what you're asking here.

Vader is in his "prime" in Rebels yet he cannot decisively beat Ahsoka, who is shown to be around Maul's level. Sidious has toyed with a stronger version of Maul.

If that is the case, how can Vader be expected to beat Sidious?

It's confirmed by Matt Martin.

That is just his opinion which is clearly outdated after TCW S7. Martin himself said that nothing on social media is really canon and shouldn't be taken as gospel. Only published material is.

Canon or not. Sidious wins anyway.
