If they're on Dathomir team might honestly take it. Merrin is pretty insane. Reanimating the dead is considered the "greatest magicks" the nightsisters possess and only the most powerful of them (Daka, not Talzin) could perform it.

Ventress beats them, be it on Dathomir or somewhere else. Taron Malicos was still capable of giving a fight to Cal and Merrin, while Ventress would beat him quite easily. Ventress takes it without much trouble
