Cutting a swath through the Emperor's support base inside the Dark Temple and then defeating the Emperor himself while the latter created dopplegangers to compound his problems all the while enduring torturous conditions of the setting itself, is far beyond the capabilities of the B-Team.

Hero of Tython had to be remarkably skilled and powerful to defeat the Emperor in that setting. There is no other explanation. Lord Scourge's vision was fulfilled in this case, although the Emperor cheated death and escaped.
