Not necessarily. Sure things will float but even if you ignore somethings gravitational pull the thing in question still requires force to be moved if it's already moving. 

In the case of a Force user the size of the object still matters and although something already floating is easier to move you still have to take into that it's weight still matters if you're going to push it.
