Mid-novel Kueller is already stated to be more powerful to Gethzerion:
Not only that, Kueller's power grows exponentially until the end of the novel. Kueller is "invincible" next to a rage-amped Luke, the same amp that Luke used in RotJ.

The presence had neared. It was strong in the dark side. He could feel the ripples, feel a power he hadn’t felt in a living being since he encountered the Emperor.
