This is a textbook argument from ignorance fallacy. If Vader hadn't shown Sith sorcery (he has), then that would simply mean he hadn't shown it. Nothing more, nothing less. Concluding from that that he doesn't have sorcery is like concluding that a person you just met at the dinner table doesn't have legs because you haven't seen them yet.

Darth Vader does know sith sorcery but at the basic level. Sidious would restrict Vader from learning advanced sith sorcery, because Vader will be more Of a threat. Vader could slay Sidious with Sith sorcery as he slept. Sidious is being cautious.
