Ti's clearly not intended to be stronger than TFU Vader, nor do her feats portray her as such. Every version after curbstomps. As a matter of curiosity, what even puts Ti above TPM Kenobi?

Probably the assumption that as a master, she's better than a Padawan.UnquantifiableCharacter77 wrote:Ti's clearly not intended to be stronger than TFU Vader, nor do her feats portray her as such. Every version after curbstomps. As a matter of curiosity, what even puts Ti above TPM Kenobi?

@IG: Don't care about assumptions honestly. TPM Kenobi has better feats. And if we assume he's better than Vader he scales above her.

TPM Kenobi has better feats than taking out a dozen magnaguards and giving Galen Marek a good fight? And being stated to be the strongest opponent Galen had faced at that point, making her > Kota?UnquantifiableCharacter77 wrote:@IG: Don't care about assumptions honestly. TPM Kenobi has better feats. @Nute_Chethray:
That feat has been debunked here.
The same Galen was later matched by a Shadow Guard. Not worth noting really.
Kota is portrayed as a pretty shit tier Jedi IU. I'm more impressed by Kenobi demonstrating comparable/superior aug to Jinn and beating Koon than I am by what you've presented for Ti.

@UnquantifiableCharacter77
In a thread about two characters there were attempted debunks on both sides. Her opponent (Jinn) also had attempts of being debunked in the same thread, and you mark Kenobi being comparable to Jinn being one of the reasons for why he's > Shaak.
For example:
So at least specifiying which post you wanted me to see would certainly be helpful.
But to be reasonable, I assume you wanted me to see this;
Sure this makes it less impressive, but I was fully aware of this scan and those arguments against her. It makes it less impressive, but it doesn't just erase the feat from existance. Djem So has an advantage in strenght over makashi, but would you say that Anakin's win over Dooku should be ignored? It doesn't make Shaak > ROTS Kenobi, but its still a solid showing that I personally find more impressive than beating TPM Koon.
Ah yes, could you explain why being matched by a shadow guard is an anti-feat and not a showing of the shadow guard's skill?
Galen has by far better feats even at this point than either Kenobi, Jinn or Koon by the time of TPM, like forcepushing hundreds or thousands of droids at once.
Only thing I've ever heard of that is that he's noted to be sub-Shaak. From what I've heard he's portrayed as a great jedi general.
What has Jinn or Koon done thats > or even = Galen?

CuckedCurry wrote:Nobody should hold TPM Maul high, he has nothing good to his name. Stonewalled by Anoon Bondara, evaded by Darsha Assant, struggled with Komari Vosa, struggled with Jinn & Kenobi despite messing with their ability to call on the force, struggled with Tusken raiders, blitzed by Siolo Ur’manka twice. His only fights are against pre or post prime noobers and the only time he fights a top tier he gets wrecked...twice
Then you’ve got the wrist rocket showing and it only gets worse
So at least specifiying which post you wanted me to see would certainly be helpful.
But to be reasonable, I assume you wanted me to see this;
Dooku had taught Grievous well, and Grievous had taught his elite well. Coupled with Dooku's coaching, their programming in the seven classic forms of lightsaber dueling - in the Jedi arts - made them lethal opponents. But they were not invincible, not even Grievous, because they could be confused by unpredictability, and they had no understanding of finesse. A player of dejarik could memorize all the classic openings and countermoves, and still not be a master of the game. Defeat often came at the hands of less experienced players who knew nothing about the traditional strategies. A professional fighter, a combat artist, could be defeated by a cantina brawler who knew nothing about form but everything about ending a conflict quickly, without a thought to winning gracefully or elegantly. Enslavement to form opened one to defeat by the unforeseen. This was often the failing of trained duelists, and it would be the failing of the Jedi Order.

The same Shadow Guards are inferior to Hand Mara, who arguably scales beneath Aayla, and definitely scales below An'ya Kuro.

The training is listed as sub-Vader. Of course we see Ventress being demonstrably superior to Vader (if one wishes to scale it), but Hand Mara is demonstrably inferior to Vader ala Kuro. Also, the Emperor's Hands were the Emperor's most elite agents, there's no way some random Shadow Guard is superior to them.CuckedCurry wrote:IG wrote:Cheth wrote:Ah yes, could you explain why being matched by a shadow guard is an anti-feat and not a showing of the shadow guard's skill?
