By scaling, he should stomp, or close to it. He scales pretty far above Cal as of right now. In an actual fight, he wins all rounds, with round 2 being in a decent fight and round 1 a good fight.

Kanan defeated the Grand Inquisitor and showed superiority to 5th and 7th, before undergoing further growth. He outmaneuvered an overconfident Maul. He was noted by the Emperor to cause a disturbance in the Force. He is one of the voices Rey heard in RoS.
It's a good fight all rounds, but I don't think Cal's feats and holistic portrayal are on that level.

Basically this. Then there's him holding back the explosion before even entering into Oneness, Maul apparently being wary of facing him in a 1v1 by season 3 (note that this is purely speculation - it could have just been in Maul's best interests not to fight Kanan directly), fairly easily holding back bloodlusted season 3 Ezra with the Force, sending Ezra reeling with his blows (someone who could hold off an overhead two-handed strike from the 5th Brother) while possessed, manhandling Sabine (someone who shortly after could take on and defeat Gar Saxon, a seasoned Mandalorian and ex member of Maul's Mandalorian forces), holding up huge bridges, etc.Rohirrim wrote:Kanan defeated the Grand Inquisitor and showed superiority to 5th and 7th, before undergoing further growth.
