Cal vs. Taron was apparently relatively contentious according to one of the data entries, claiming Merrin only “tipped the balance,” (or something along those lines) so Kanan’s addition should be more than enough to seal a decisive victory over Malicos.

^ that’s backed gameplay as well. All Merrin does is stealth and hit Malicos after Cal wins a bladelock.

He does grab Cal with the Force then pin him as well.

Except force barriers aren't a thing in canon. So pinning someone isn't a dominance showing anymore.

Add that to the fact that dathomir is a potent DS nexus, and you’ve secured Cal > Malicos or >> Malicos

I’m not sure I’d agree with that, since most showings of Force dominance are by characters who are clearly far more powerful (unless the Force showing was achieved by a massive opening or the defender was caught off-guard). We have cases like Dooku vs. Ventress, Vader vs. Ezra, Cal, Cere, etc., Anakin vs. Barriss, Maul vs. Kenobi, Palpatine vs. Maul, etc. There’s a relatively consistent correlation between telekinetic dominance and power between combatants.
Even if you subscribe to the notion that dominating someone with the Force isn’t an actual sign of power discrepancy, it’s at least a clear sign of lack of skill by the one being manipulated, so regardless, it’s a relevant indicator of combative supremacy.

Malicos was overwhelming Cal with the force and he would have smashed him with a boulder had Merrin not intervened. However Kanan is pretty strong, so I think Duo takes it
