TPM Sidious vs TPM Yoda

After Plagueis' death, Yoda finds the newly anointed Dark Lord of the Sith. 

Who wins?

Yoda dies in two seconds.

Sidious curbostomps. TPM Yoda is inferior to TPM Maul kek.

Yoda is outclassed. While Yoda has stagnated and sparred, the chad sheev has trained relentlessly with a worthy opponent for years and has just come across a boost to his power that is godly.

Yeah Sheev wins, not many ways around it

Yoda wins with high difficulty.

Yoda is on par with Mace Windu, who has issues with Ventress. Sheev can dominate TPM Maul, who even with ring rust 12 years later is better than Ventress further into TCW.

I don't see Yoda growing through post TPM whereas Sidious most certainly does thus a weaker Sidious should not defeat Yoda.

Since this is after Plagueis' death Sidious should be right about where he is as of RotS in terms of power, give or take, and with a body closer to 50 instead of 60 and not degraded by the dark side as much he'll have greater physical reserves to draw off of. 

I'm also not convinced Yoda grew during the Clone Wars. He took mostly a backseat advisory role save for a few critical missions, unlike Mace, Kenobi, and Anakin who were in the thick of it.

They are both equally powerful give or take and while Yoda is probably the superior duelist Sidious can negate that advantage with lightning. I see it playing out just like it did in RotS, back and forth until one is completely spent. It could go either way.

Yoda did go through these mental confrontational revelations between AotC and RotS that would lead to his powers maturing.

Sheev wrecks without even needing a lightsaber.

Same as the canon fight. There’s no evidence Yoda grew as a fighter barring spiritual growth which doesn’t automatically preclude a gain in combative prowess. Ben > RotS Kenobi in wisdom and spiritual enlightenment, yet RotS Kenobi is still superior in every way as a combatant same goes for ESB Yoda and RotS Yoda. Fact is Yoda’s been on the downside from the years Mace knew him, logic dictates he would only continue to slow down in the events leading up to RotS.

We actually know Yoda grows a great deal as he is confirmed by Lucas to equal Dooku who is an 8 in AotC yet in RotS he is a 9.
