Battle of the Skywalkers
January 6th 2020, 6:54 pm
Round 1: Padawan Anakin (just after his wedding with Padme) vs Jedi Knight Luke (just before the events of RotJ)
Round 2: Padawan Anakin (during the Clone War right before he is knighted) vs Jedi Knight Luke (just afternoon leaving Endor)
Round 3: Jedi Knight Anakin (during the Battle of Coruscant) vs Thrawn Trilogy Luke
Round 4: Sith Anakin (before Padme showed up) vs Dark Empire (just after the events of Empire’s End)
Morals on, standard equipment, no outside help, random encounter no prep, both characters enter the fight perfectly calm and clear minded, etc.

R1: Luke was being pressured by half a dozen soldiers when rescuing Leia from Prince Xizor. Anakin should take this.
R2: Leaning Luke.
R3: Anakin is a better duelist and should be more powerful. He wins.
R4: KFV? He wins handily.

Round 1: Luke with a very hard fight. (They’re both within a similar tier but Luke just has a slight advantage as a duelist/Force Practitioner and has more extreme survival experience)
Round 2: Anakin mid difficulty (by this point Anakin had become a much more capable warrior and more powerful with the Force but not to an extent where Luke couldn’t keep up)
Round 3: Anakin stomps without realizing he’s in a fight, okay TBH Luke gives him somewhat of a struggle but Anakin still beats him with low difficulty based on feats; Dooku and Vader are comparable while both are at full power but Anakin destroyed Dooku with ease on his own power while Luke was losing to a weakened (yes Vader was weakened as stated in the ROTJ novel where he said he couldn’t use the Dark Side like he used to) who was holding back because of inner conflict (which weakened him even more). Despite all this, Luke was forced to hide from him and only had the slimmest of chances when he snapped and used the Dark Side which caught Vader off guard and Luke used this moment of advantage by not letting up because he knew if he did for even a nanosecond, Vader would recover and slap him with no difficulty.
Round 4: Luke with low to mid difficulty. (Luke was easily neck and neck with the most powerful version of Palpatine (to be fair he was an Inferior) while the best you can argue this Anakin to be is so what relative to a much weaker Palpatine. Luke was simply on a higher level here)

Agree with this. I'd say Anakin in Round 2 could still take it.
