Given that he was able to physically overpower Dooku pre dark rage, I'd say Savage has sufficient aug to compete.

Besides, I think Maul would confront Vader and Luke would confront Savage and given Luke's unfamiliarity with a fighter like Savage, that also works against him.

Though I do agree that Maul soloing Vader and Luke is illogical.

Savage gets clowned by Luke

Sidious was vastly holding back and practically toying with him,the mace windu fight happen mostly off panel so we don't know how exactly ended

3. Even if you want to say Sids was going all out, he was "barely tested" throughout the entire duel (including the 2v1) so it does Maul jack squat anyway.

We have no idea how long the duel lasted but it was obviously pretty short. Mace was also pre-prime and hindered by a vastly inferior teammate.

He never contended with Sidious. Filoni even goes out of his way in an interview about it to repeatedly clarify that Maul and Savage combined were no match for Sidious. Landing a single kick on Sheev while enraged and while he was overconfident =/= contending.

Except he doesn't suck the fuck are you talking about ? Most G-Canon quotes are comparing him to his potential which is obviously god level. While he lost a lot of power that doesn't mean he sucks

yep lucas only have been talking about his potential and how right after getting into the suit he literally is 80% of sidious so the ability to be twice as powerful as the emperor disappear this doesn't mean the character sucks at all,he still is pretty damn powerful to pull impressive feats but yet again people completly misunderstand the author statements to lowballing him.
