Malgus holding his own against Outlander dumps all over nearly losing to a one-armed, fatally wounded Caedus.

caedus. whether he was hurt or not, she was still weaker than he was, and she still gave him a fight. the same guy whould defend himself from Luke's barrage, the best duelist in the verse.

@lorenzo.r.2nd:
You can't handwave circumstances like this simply for the sake of argument. Jacen only had one arm to use, and had a huge hole in his gut, scaling Jaina to anything he has is faulty at a bare minimum, plain lurdo at maximum. A more reliable method of scaling the two would be Jaina's concession of inferiority to Luke's council, whom Jacen is superior to as early as Bloodlines, after which he experiences huge gains.
Yes... hence why it's not impressive. Inferiority to someone so injured they had to sustain themself with force energy and only had one arm to use will never be anything worth noting.
Not really. He wasn't interested in fighting her, nor trying particularly hard, yet was still dominating her with TK and FL for the majority of the engagement, and matching her blow for blow in sabers. She only achieved a victory after he gave up on the duel entirely to focus on reaching Tenel Ka with the force, and after she experienced an emotional amp. This is a non feat, pure and simple.
Caedus got blitzed by an emotionally hindered Luke in Inferno, and was quickly disposed of even after opening one of Skywalker's old wounds. Things only got competitive after he hit him with a vong trap, which screwed Luke over badly.
