stops at 10 based on the nyax hype. But I don't know much about him personally. Is Nyax capable of defending himself against an all out offensive force assault?

What version of Mace? If pre-ROTS he stops at 9 or 10. If ROTS, hard stop at Windu.

Via his comparability to SWTOR Vitiate

...The comparability whereby about half a dozen other Force users who'd met the Emperor or sensed his power said he'd lose? He has no real comparability except to a Vitiate who was so badly weakened he had to flee across the galaxy to regain his strength instead of confronting the strike team despite Yavin's insane dark side nexus to help.KingofBlades wrote:Via his comparability to SWTOR Vitiate

@WalkinginCircles To quote Ant:
No out-of-universe sources says Revan is no match to Vitiate. And every character commenting on the subject falls under one of the three categories:
A.) Explicitly profess to be speculating on Vitiate's full power,
B.) Never met Vitiate whatsoever,
C.) Only know Revan's power based off the Foundry battle.
Also, playing the Imperial side after knowing the events from the Republic side, it's obvious their commentary is deliberately slanted. For example, Nox says, "Even at his weakest, you are no match for the Emperor," despite the Hero defeating a far more powerful Vitiate than the one Nox is describing.
Moreover, for what it's worth, the game developers described SOR as "The player is pulled into this struggle of two of the most powerful Force users, like ever, in the history of the Old Republic, if not beyond - Revan and the Emperor," months after the expansion release. Describing it as an active struggle between two supremely powerful Force users doesn't exactly reek of this "The Emperor is far more powerful than Revan" idea.

No out-of-universe sources says Revan is no match to Vitiate. And every character commenting on the subject falls under one of the three categories:
A.) Explicitly profess to be speculating on Vitiate's full power,
Marr has previously met the Emperor, IIRC.
Per the game, all of the Force users felt Vitiate's presence and his power. Hell, even when they were right in front of the Temple he was hiding in they still said he wasn't strong enough.B.) Never met Vitiate whatsoever,
C.) Only know Revan's power based off the Foundry battle.
...You can literally sense a character's general power level by being in their vicinity.
And to debunk this theory, even spirit Revan claimed SoR Revan couldn't beat an awakened Vitiate:
"He must be stopped. His fury will only strengthen the Emperor, not destroy him."
And yes, this confirms SoR Revan ~ catatonic Vitiate, which really isn't saying much considering that Vitiate wasn't even strong enough to assume a physical form and was more powerful as of ROTE due to the conflict from Yavin awakening him.
Nox's was clearly hyperbole, so I don't know why that's relevant. The HoT's was not, not was the EW, both of whom encountered Vitiate at a fraction of his full power and who had been exposed to his presence in the past, and thus would have a sense of his current power level. The Vitiate the HoT faced was crippled by the deaths of his puppets, the Children, and having his plans completely disrupted.
So at most you can scale Revan off a catatonic, near-death Vitiate who had absolutely no influence whatsoever. He literally needed Revan to start a war just to awaken and flee the planet. How is this remotely comparable to ROTS Sidious?

Revan losing to anybody pre Vol is laughable. Vol might take 1-2/10, Krayt loses most, Nyax is a loss for Shrevan tho.

It's really not. He's stopping at prime Windu no matter how you look at it. I agree that he beats anyone before that, though.IdrisianGraecus wrote:Revan losing to anybody pre Vol is laughable. Vol might take 1-2/10, Krayt loses most, Nyax is a loss for Shrevan tho.

yeah, but neither does mace, unless he gets a mega amp, which allows him to beat a drained sidious, who may very well have been holding back....
