Sabers - Windu if Vaapad is functional
Force - Plagueis in a stomp

Plagueis, but Mace is a really serious threat especially if Plagueis goes the scenic route and draws his saber

Because he's more powerful. I can maybe see a case for Plagueis via esoteric and more lethal Force abilities though, so feel free to make a case for him in that regard.

Mace unless Plagueis finds an opening to use lightning. If this was Mace as of his duel with Sidious or a Mace willing to go all out, then he should be powerful enough to resist Plagueis in the Force. RotS Sidious is more powerful than Plagueis and while he was winning in the lightning exchange it took all his power and he was struggling.

Vaapad doesn't have precedence against something as esoteric as Midichlorian(spelling) manipulation.  Plaeguis wins those rounds.  Loses the first obviously.

Force: Money's on Plagueis. Mace has greater raw power maybe, but Plagueis dwarves him in versatility, mastery, and basically an insane amount of ways he can use the Force. Not to mention MM.
All out: Plagueis's Force skills won't matter in the face of just superior combatant going on him. I doubt MM can do much in a heated duel between two people on this caliber, they would be trading thousands of blows per minute - not a chance for Plagueis to draw on MM, even if he needs only 0,1 second for that.

Mace takes sabers, Plagueis takes Force and all-out. He's arguably just as if not more powerful than Windu, and he's far more masterful and has more hax.

Though he didn't exactly. Palpatine was gonna kill Mace with or without Anakin. Palpatine's power was beyond Vaapad's potential.

Exhausted Mace, but yes.

Your point being? Sidious can just fight Windu till he's exhausted, then use lighting. Either way, he wins. In fact, it's even possible to argue Sidious could kill Windu before he can slip into Vaapad properly.

Exhaustion does not matter in this case. Windu with Vaapad amp is incapable of resisting to Sidious' lightning. He doesn't even have to engage saber combat.

The opposite, actually. Despite being exhausted and Vaapad being virtually useless he still held off Sheev's lightning for a good amount of time.
