is the star wars holiday special canon

i always thought it was obvious that it was canon bc it had mark hammil, harrison ford and the lot. Plus it was directed by Lucas himself so it’s therefore g canon.

Lucas said that if he had the time and a sledge hammer, he would destroy every copy of the Holiday Special. So no it's not canon.

It's canon within Legends, but it's non-canon within Disney. Though, Disney has canonized some characters and elements from the story.

Yeh like the long rifle that the Mandalorian has in his show, is the same weapon that Boba Fett used in the cartoon short
