For my part I think he would do exceptionally well against the SF fodder and take Bastila down but probably loses to Malak via Force abuse.

He doesn’t beat Bastila, who is compared to Obi Wan. Star Forge Bastila is ridiculously amped, and will smash Greivius into the ground.

How could Bastila being compared Obi-Wan? Bastila barely has feats and a fodder Jedi to be honest. Her Dark Side counterpart doesn't seem to be any stronger instead edgier.

Wizard game mechanics doesn't make for any sort of compelling argument.IdrisianGraecus wrote:He doesn’t beat Bastila, who is compared to Obi Wan. Star Forge Bastila is ridiculously amped, and will smash Greivius into the ground.

Wizards of the Coast is not a game mechanic thing, it is canon, and everyone uses the quote.
HellfireUnit, the Wizards of the Coast people had this one quote about Bastila being incomparable to Yoda, Sidious, etc, but instead was similar to Obi Wan in terms of power. Feat Wise, Bastila can TK Jolee, Juhani, and KOTOR Revan.

She has a mental dampener on, that’s not the point. Anakin, Obi Wan and a Dooku get captured by pirates.

Pulling the old TCW meme I see
Bro Obi Wan who was under the influence of toxic fumes takes out 50 droids lightwork
Meanwhile Bastila’s over here getting captured by Jim and co and can’t do fuck all about it
Not to mention she says the dampener did nothing to mess with her connection to the force

IdrisianGraecus. IIRC the qoute you're referring to specifically was talking in-game abilities. Mind posting it here?
Unless you seriously think Darth Vader strength is tantamount to Yoda's (also stated in the quote) which is factually incorrect. Or that Obi-Wan is on par with Dooku -- the man who has factually upstaged him in one fashion or another, in every major encounter they've ever had.
Even if the quote isn't directly referring to game mechanics (which, I'm pretty sure it was debunked as such) it directly contradicts established canon. So, why would I, or anyone else, take it as gospel here?
Pretty neat. Unfortunately, Force pushing Revan and a few relatively randoms doesn't equate to be anywhere near Obi-Wan or Dooku tier quality -- sorry.

Many debaters here use the quote, it’s not invalid as a point.
Bastila could be thought of as a second-tier Jedi. She's clearly not as capable as characters such as Mace Windu, Jedi Master; Yoda, Jedi Master; or Darth Vader, Jedi Hunter; but she's roughly on par with Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi Master or Darth Tyranus.

Yeah, def seems to be referring to game mechanic by using game related terms such as 'Jedi Hunter' to describe the likes of Vader [which is his character class iirc]
Besides that, it directly contradicts established canon and continuity so it's hardly credible or worth using. Appeal to majority be damned.

It doesn’t directly contradict anything. Using Wizards of the coast stuff allows Malak > Exar, which is widely used, and you cannot selectively choose sources.

The contradiction is right in front of you, actually. The fact it has Obi-Wan and Dooku on par is proof enough, but Vader, someone who is in the same vein as Maul or Dooku, being in the same niche as Yoda and Mace beats the point in even more.
I'm not a member of any shitty faction/brigade, or whatever it is you kids call it these days. So, nah.

It compares them as fellow Tier 8 characters. This never specified which version of Vader the quote refers to, so it could likely be KF Vader, who is tier 9 as well.
