Rank The Ancient Sith
December 19th 2020, 8:50 pm
Supernatural Encounters will likely change all that we know of the Ancient Sith, and change the SW Versus Community as a whole. New content to debate about and such.
So before this happens, I want to see how our opinions might drastically change after SE becomes accessible.
Here are the Sith to be ranked:
1. Ajunta Pall
2. Karness Muur
3. Xoxaan
4. Remulus Dreypa
5. Sorzus Syn
6. Tulak Hord
7. Aloysius Kallig
8. Marka Ragnos
9. Naga Sadow
10. Ludo Kressh
11. Horak-mul
12. Exar Kun
13. Ulic Qel-Droma
Edit: 14. Darth Andeddu

On what basis is Muur > Ulic, Ragnos, Nadd, Sadow or Kressh? I am hoping it's not delusional Vader.

Post your complications. I am sure someone else or myself can help you figure it out.Lady Kulvax wrote:Note: I'm working on the basis of Hord being an Exile.
Would Andeddu be included with the Traya quotes?

There are no complications, it's merely that if Hord was an Exile then he started out as a Shadow Hand of Pall, who gets hard tied beneath Sadow and Kressh. Meaning that Hord's growth through the war and his ritual, has to be absolutely huge to bring him up passed Sadow, et.al.

Could this be what you are referring to?
So I see this quote to only state that the Sith (species) grew naturally stronger in raw force power through breeding, but what places Hord below Sadow in the said case?
Just because 2,000 years happened I don't think it necessarily places Sadow above every exile. In this case, every single Sith hybrid in 5,000 BBY (who wielded the force) was > Jedi Exiles.
The quote states that the raw power of the species as a whole increased, not that Sadow, Mul, and Ragnos were > Jedi Exiles.
If we were to take it as you are, let's pretend there was a quote stating that Yoda's species was more naturally adept in the force than the Sith species. Yaddle lived thousands of years after Ragnos; she lives in a time where the force has been investigated and mastered moreso than Ragnos's time. Does this place Yaddle>Ragnos? Of course not.
I hoped I helped.

That's not what it says, it says specifically that the Exiles bred with the Sith species to weed out weaknesses and enhance the strengths of both species, and that they did so for two thousand years. That's a specific attempt by them to reproduce for the sole purpose of each generation becoming stronger. This wasn't just done for the sake of it, they literally had to use alchemy to actually concieve any progeny. That's literal alchemically-enhanced offspring for two thousand years.

I understood that yes.
You could use this in future debates to support a point, but don't use this as if it is a clear determination of Sadow's superiority over Hord.
It suggests that both the humans and Sith grew in raw force power, but it does not straight up place Sadow above Hord. It isn't as clear as accolades such as Marka Ragnos's most powerful quote.

@VictreebelVictr Hord's ritual was not ever repeated and he is > Kallig who tanked Vitiate's drain.
Horak simply more impressive (drop ships from orbit as a ghost, resurrecting/possessing the dead etc.
Dreypa's talisman was not trapped like Muur's and he wasn't trapped by it
Ragnos lived longer had time to spam the ritual Kun did, plus he is worth several dark side nexii to become corporeal and Luke even says he's worse than WoL Kun.

There are multiple sources placing Kun above every Sith Lord before him.

well theres nothing that puts them that high and Muur is easily far ahead of them, Nadd has nothing putting him above Ragnos at all, theres a quote that says he needed time to become the most powerful sorcerer but then he dies shortly after, makes sense that hes not the most powerful sorcerer

well Ragnos never retained his full power after becoming a spirit, was never a credited as being a duelist, and was in a females body.
that fight is not indicative of Ragnos' full power at all
