Sidious, Revan is largely inferior in about every category.

There is no reason to believe Revan wins.  He was comparable to a weaker Sith Lord than even  Plaggy was more powerful than.

Theron Shan = Han Solo

Outlander's companion = let it be Inquisitor


Three Darth Maul's & Shaak Ti & Inquisitor & Jango Fett & Han Solo & Chewbacca would defeat Sidious faster than Revan I think.

And Revan’s Force looks more impressive.

Knocking eight characters (at least two of whom weren't in a combat stance and 2 of whom were massively weakened by the Yavin IV nexus) backwards only for them to get right back up really isn't that good of a showing.

Because Sidious is just better. More powerful, much more skilled, more unpredictable, and more ruthless. Unless you use convoluted scaling chains to wank Revan to absolute Hell and back (the same can be done for ROTS Sidious), there's not much of a reason for me to see Revan putting up much of a fight when I have him substantially below the likes of Outlander and Vaylin.

On second thoughts, Sidious wins in a decent to good fight. Not a stomp. Revan's outclassed but he's no pushover.

Revan was significantly amped by the Yavin IV nexus while Satele and HoT would be significantly hindered by it. So a significantly amped Revan fought 6 people ,2 of whom are not even Force sensitive, 2 were significantly hindered (Satele wasn't even fighting Revan she was just using her Battle Meditation) and then the last 2 would have been amped. So really, Revan fought 5 people (with Battle Meditation) with 2 of them being non Force sensitive,1 being hindered and the last 2 being amped.

Unless I'm mistaken, BM would also be limited due to Satele's light side nature. So really it's an amped Revan versus a hindered HoT, amped Lana and amped Marr plus some non Force users, all enhanced by a limited BM that is interrupted several times during the fight if you use gameplay mechanics as a reference.
