Standard rules

(1) Nihilus pulling a fleet out of a gravity well is legit.

(2) Nihilus's planetary drain isn't a savant skill and is applicable to combat.

Those are basically the two main points which determine most Nihilus based matchups. If either of them holds true, he wins here. If they don't, SK wins.

We have no context of the ship feat, so for all we know he'd consumed 5 planets beforehand and been massively amped Galactus-style. His drain also isn't fast enough to overwhelm Galen and kill him before Galen wrecks him in sabers or the Force.

I doubt his drain not being fast enough to overwhelm Marek. Marek possesses no knowledge of the technique and Nihilus appeared to overwhelm Sion and other Dark Side Adepts in a matter of seconds with a combined attack of drain, lightning TK IIRC.
