Vader is too powerful and skilled for Vaylin to handle.

Hindered MFV gets ragdolled, but unhindered takes 10/10

Hindered MFV goes down hard, unhindered wins in a good to great fight.

His mindset and mindless rage plummet him from Sidious level to Kenobi level. It's quite simple.

There's about half a dozen sources saying Anakin was erratic and unfocused, and unable to bring his full strength to bear out of his guilt over betraying the Jedi/Padme/Obi-Wan and fighting his "brother".

Again, citations needed. There are statements directly from the novelization refuting that.

That’s a double standard, you asked him for citations but provided none for your claim.

Yeah citations needed for those "half a dozen sources" please.

It’s not a double standard when I asked before I made that comment, and they continued not providing citations.MasterCilghal wrote:Jacen wrote:There are statements directly from the novelization refuting that.

Statements saying MFV grew in power doesn't preclude him also being applicably weaker due to his mental state

I'm not aware of any evidence suggesting that Vaylin can defeat a mouldy festering vagina.

Him being a tier 9 combatively kinda does though

I haven't seen a single statement that explicitly says that Vader was weakened
Like, not one single statement. The only reason this notion even exists is because people can't believe that Obi Wan can compete with him( probably again due to outdated notions that Dooku can stomp him etc.)

And the stuff about them knowing each others styles. But none of that matters. Fact is, whatever hindrances Anakin had mentally would have had a minimal effect on the individual strength of his blows in the moment he threw them. While mental hindrances factor into battles in the bigger picture, it's honestly kind of silly to try and take it to the micro level. Vader was bending Obi-Wan's forearm bones through sheer strength before Obi-Wan let go, then he was defending himself from not only Vader's strength but his TK. If Dooku were in Obi-Wan's shoes his arms would have fallen off.

Not to mention, Obi Wan notes that Anakin has become too strong and just some days ago, has also seen Dooku's weapon smashed into his body by Anakin
I am not sure that Vader against Kenobi is better than his best version, but that goes some way in him being above the enraged IH Anakin

Holistically, MFV(I'll be arguing unhindered here) should be more powerful. He has far far greater potential with a similar amount of time to actualize said potential. Of course Vader is so supremely skilled that even if she was his equal or marginal superior in power, Vader would dissect Vaylin in a duel.
