Malgus at his prime is able to break through the passive barrier of the Outlander (breaking barriers is ridiculous, as Bane during Path of Destruction charges a blast of energy for an entire speech and Kas'im negates it with an instantaneous barrier). That maul vs Vader fight was non canon btw...., It also showcases Vader winning after a hard fight so.....

Vader cheapshotted, and Chee backs up the notion of it being intent-wise correct.

I personally doubt that Lucas thinks maul is above vader but I obviously don't know for sure, so it is what it is

Except Dooku isn't < Sedriss because nor he, nor maul existed at the time of the release of said quote.

for 19 bby vader i was meaning pre suited one this question answer himself anakin by the time of rots is tier 9 along with sidious and yoda two characters that i have serious doubts if they would get defeated by a prime outlander(end of kotet)


for suited vader better lightsaber showings being able to defeat celeste morne a being who was capable of contending with vong krayt and maladi at the same time during the legacy era,outskill starkiller before the latter use the force and some pretty force feats like manipulating a energy beam that was capable of destroying planets and slice star destroyers in half with little effort, honestly the only version that i can see winning of the outlander is the one that was controlled by a weakened valkorion that version shits on vader
