Who has creative control over the Sequel trilogy?

Was it the directors or the Lucasfilm produced e.g. Kathleen Kennedy, I’m asking this because studio interference has become very common over the past 2 decades.

Lucasfilm president (Kathleen Kennedy) and a select board choose the director for a film. They then have to be consulted on the main ideas and decisions thought up by the director and the screenwriters, which they will either approve or shoot down. Depending on how many they shoot down, they may "encourage" the screenwriters or even the director to step down from the film so that another more in line with their views can be appointed.
