And the final two movies. Sequel Trilogy's two.
We rate the movies, then I tally the votes into arithmetic average.
My personal, simplified interpretation of the scale below, in spoilertag.

Tenth round: Episode VII: The Force Awakens
My personal, simplified interpretation of the scale below, in spoilertag.
- Spoiler:
- More general depiction of how I would see the scale:
1/10 - absolute failure, complete, utter shit, worst of all time.
2/10 - terrible movie, one of the worst to watch ever.
3/10 - very poor.
4/10 - weak, failed movie.
5/10 - completely normal, average movie, not much of fun, but not much of pain either.
6/10 - a good movie.
7/10 - very above average movie, really, really nice.
8/10 - incredibly awesome movie, wonderful thing to watch.
9/10 - nearing perfection, absolutely outstanding, magnificent, incredible thing.
10/10 - absolute perfection, pinnacle of the art, it's impossible to beat, pure, perfect masterpiece.

A film that relied too heavily on nostalgia. It was basically episode IV redone. I liked some of the characters, but overall it was a meh film. I hated that they introduced another death star, and completely skipped out on the essential backstories, like the formation of the resistance and the first order etc.

2/10. Awful movie that destroys the OT.

Only watched it once in the premier. My impression was lukewarm. It's basically one of the forgettable JJA Star Trek movies. Nothing great nothing terrible nothing to write home about.

This is perhaps the toughest movie to rank for me. Do we rank it in the context of TLJ? What about in context of the rest of the saga?
In terms of Bart's scale, I'll give it a 5. It definitely had the initial surge of nostalgia going for it, but in retrospect it didn't do anything spectacular except for a few interesting mystery plot points that were destroyed by TLJ (though i'm not counting that against it). It foreshadowed some of the concerning aspects of TLJ, but most of the blame for actually executing them in such a horrible way falls on TLJ for me. Overall, it's a 5 by the standards of a professionally made Hollywood blockbuster, with a higher grade by some perspective via nostalgia/Star Wars boost and a lower grade if you factor in TLJ's conclusion of some of its setups or penalize it more for its copying of the OT.

5/10. Good film in its own right, but as others have said it's far too reliant on nostalgia instead of building something new. Honestly, it should have been set a century or so after the OT to show the aftermath (kind of like Legacy) with characters barely linked to the PT or OT. Maybe have Kylo Ren be a Skywalker who's long-lost descendant of Anakin or Luke.
Still, it killed Han, so that's one point in its favour.

Or it should not have been made at all.
