Luke fighting in character might lose due to his tendency to hold back...but I think he should go all out if he feels threatened, which means he would definitely clear, as most of the opponents in the gauntlet are just fodder.

Luke dies hard at 5.

Holding back or not, he had never shown the ability to best a team of that caliber.
