It doesn't state the amount he grew. It is indeed vague.

As per Lucas Vader is always significantly less powerful than Anakin. So the quote is either completely invalid or just referring to ESB

Why does it need to state the amount he grew? It's saying his power is great, greater than it have ever been, implying he grew a lot. Nothing retcons this. Vader and Anakin are two completely different characters, so we can use this quote without acknowledging Anakin

regardless of the amount of growth he received RoTJ is his prime version (in his suit that is) period .
but not even RoTJ vader is good enough to beat vaapad windu .
the other 3 members of B team are enough to beat galen or at least give him a fight till windu beats vader in a good fight

Lucas has explicitly stated that himself. Given the whole Legends/Canon split, there is no reason to force them to blend, either. The power levels never matched with the movies/shows, and some of the core ideas directly went against Lucas- wishes -- e.i. Sith spirits.

It has zero to do with me being bias for Vader either. When the Disnet split first happen, I said it wasn't a big deal to me, because the EU was always a non-canon alternate Universe when it came down to it.

I think Vader has a chance of taking out at least two of B-team before dying, maybe even all three. I agree that the Jedi team still wins a majority though.

I agree with BoD. Even if Galen was above Vader that only puts him near TPM Kenobi. While Kit is comfortably above AotC Kenobi. He oneshots Vader and then beats Galen.
