TFU Shaak Ti vs Qui Gon Jinn

Shaak can win if early Galen is above TPM Maul, but I have not seen any arguments in favor of this position, so I go with Jinn.

@Greysentinel365 amazing respond Grey, it has been most certainly educational. Appreciate the time and effort you put on that post.

However I still think Ti wins due to Force skills and comparable dueling skills.

Early TFU Galen is still a Force to be reckoned with. He was stated to all but perfect his lightsaber skill, and he's a Palpatine + potential character with a decade + of intense training from one of the greatest Jed killers and Sith Lords in galactic history.

Couple that with his absolutely insane learning curve, and he's prolly not quite up to par with Maul, but he shouldn't be too far off at all.

Insinuating that Shaak Ti is also TPM Maul level, or close?

Ti is largely unimpressive, from struggling with a single magnaguard to being literally exhausted after moving back the ocean on Kamino with Anakin’s and Obi wans’s help while the other two were still perfectly fine. Jinn, by contrast, has been able to provide the likes of Maul with an actual challenge. He wins this.

Why should Jinn win in the Force?

That's not a stonewall. A stonewall is what Obi-Wan and Yoda did to Dooku or what Zannah did to Set Harth. Blocking every attack with minimal effort and without being forced to give up any ground. All Bondara did was hold on defensively while clearly losing. It's about as impressive as Zannah fighting a losing battle defensively with Sarro Xaj.

Force users always use the Force to obscure an enemies own precognitive senses and shield their own. It's a basic technique taught by initiate Bane. No reason to assume the Jedi in "the prime of the Jedi Order" wouldn't know about either.

If they were comparable in power they would have been able to counter it. Lightsaber duels are very much mental as well as physical. Maul being able to obscure both their connections at the same time is proof of how much better he is.

I'll give you that one, but it's more to do with the medium he's portrayed in than anything. Watson is more conservative than most writers when it comes to power scaling in Legends. I seriously doubt a band of thirty desert raiders wouldn't be able to take out Black Sun.

Sure let's use a time when Maul was little more than an acolyte and in a showing that may not even be canon anymore given the origins of his double-bladed lightsaber have changed.
